A summer wedding at Redemption Chapel & Greek Community Center – Akron, Ohio
Matthew & Katy celebrated their love with a beautiful summer wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family. These two were the sweetest love birds; you could feel the love and admiration between them from across the room. Thankfully, that makes my job easy. You see, when I first met Katy she explained she is an interior designer. This had me brimming with excitement wondering what she’d have planned for me to capture. Let me tell you, I wasn’t let down! From her gorgeous lace gown with lace capped sleeves, to her amazing bouquet, to her necklace which included a strand of her mother’s pearls…she planned the most beautiful day. Only to be outdone by the sweet love these two shared with all of us lucky enough to join them.

Katy, a proud Kent State University alumnus, wanted to get some photos on campus.
I’m so glad we did! Kent State has this magical tree. If I could, I would put this tree in my camera bag and use it for every wedding!
One of my favorite things about a wedding day is when the reception is nearly over and we take the bride and groom out to explore for nearby photos. Always worth it!
