A few months ago, I received a Facebook message from Alle inquiring about scheduling a best friends photo session. I’ve never shot a session with adult best friends, but I loved the idea from the start! It is so much fun to get glammed up with your besties and hang out and laugh for a couple of hours. All while I tag along and get some of your best angles. And let me tell you, these ladies didn’t have a single bad angle. They made my job so easy. Well, except for the part when I got stuck in a bunch of burs. But, it was so worth it!
We met about 90 minutes before sunset at one of my fave locations – Pine Hill Sauers Farm. It’s hard not to love this place as it has so much to offer. A couple of barns, a large pond, lots of overgrown grassy areas, woods, an orchard, and walking trails. It’s hard to top a sunset session at Pine Hill. In fact, you’ll find me living there in the summer and fall months!
The ladies began with soft, summery jeans and white lace outfits. Their laughter was nonstop from the moment I first met them. As I said, they made my job so, so easy! Then, my favorite part. The ladies transitioned into full-on glam. Alle and Shelley wore nearly matching gowns with black tulle and lace. Brittney perfectly complimented the ladies in black with her orange crushed velvet gown. She paired it was a gorgeous black statement necklace. Seriously, I thought I had died and gone to photographer heaven.
So, long story short, this was an absolute blast! We made some amazing photos and we laughed way too much. In fact, I’m going to add adult best friends photo session as a full-time category I offer. So, get all your friends together ladies, let’s make more magic!
Alle, Brittney, and Shelley – thank you for asking me to hang out with you and capture these gorgeous photos! Enjoy some of my faves and I’ll be sending your gallery out soon!
