Summer Engagement Session | Ohio Wedding Photographer
You may be surprised to learn that I don’t actually live at Pine Hill. I just spend a lot of time there because it’s engagement season! There are so many reasons to love this park. There are beautiful barns, a large pond, an orchard, and lots of walking trails through the woods. So, of course I was excited when Brianne suggested we use Pine Hill for their summer engagement session. Eric & Brianne are two of the most genuinely nice people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We spent the entire session laughing and it was so nice just getting to know them better.
One of the best joys as a wedding photographer is getting to capture multiple weddings within the same family. You see, I first met Brianne at her brother’s wedding years ago. I remember getting her initial inquiry email and being so excited to work with their family again. What an immensely special honor!
Preparing for an outdoor engagement session in late June in Ohio usually means anticipating heat and humidity. However, the weather was totally on our side this time. We had perfect sunny skies that made for some magically dreamy light. With a comfortable 70 degree evening, with little to no humidity, it was a photographer’s dream! We ended up walking back to the woods to take advantage of a beautiful little trail at the edge of the woods. I absolutely love the way the light shines through the trees and grass this time of day. It was no exception for Eric & Brianne’s session. I really, really love how beautifully these photos came out! Here are a few of my faves!
