A Spring Wedding at Stan Hywet and Greystone Hall
This past weekend’s wedding at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens and Greystone Hall was years in the making. ?After eight years of dating, Justin finally wed his high school sweetheart, Marissa, on the west terrace of Stan Hywet. ?We started the day at Greystone Hall in downtown Akron. ?You can’t ask for a more beautiful venue to get ready and celebrate in. ?The bride wore a mermaid style gown complete with beaded bodice and a ruffled train. ?She paired that with a spray bouquet of mixed white roses and spring flowers as well as beaded Audrina Patridge strappy shoes. ?She looked stunning!
The ceremony sat on the west terrace of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens overlooking the gorgeous 70 acre estate. ?Their guests enjoyed a breathtaking view while watching two beautiful people exchange I Do’s. ?The evening was capped off with a grand celebration back at Greystone Hall. ?The grand ballroom was decorated in robin’s egg blue, silver, and white. ?Gorgeous floral centerpieces sat on raised vases with floating candles and rhinestones throughout. ?Later in the evening, guests were treated to a special song performed by the father of the bride as well as a slideshow of both Justin & Marissa.
The maid of honor, sister of the bride, read a handwritten letter from their father, ‘To the Bride on Her Wedding day’.
As you can see, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. ?Such a touching letter and beautiful message of love for the bride.
While the bride was prepping, the guys passed time enjoying laughs and drinks in Barrister’s Lounge at Greystone Hall.
The magnificent Stan Hywet Manor House, whose 64,500 square ft. serve as one of the finest examples of Tudor Revival architecture in the nation.
