Kevin & Megan’s Fall Wedding at Mount Vernon Estate
When you think of a farmhouse wedding, you may think rustic, burlap, and barns. Kevin & Megan’s wedding, however, was far from it. In fact, their Mount Vernon Estate Events wedding was chic, elegant, and timeless. A perfect presentation of every detail Megan had carefully planned for their wedding day. Their classic farmhouse wedding was actually one of the first weddings to ever take place at Mount Vernon Estate. The original farmhouse was completely renovated and huge additions were recently added. The entire property is breathtaking and the perfect backdrop for any elegant event. From the gorgeous countryside scenery to all the beautiful burgundy and ivory florals, the extensive dessert bar, the custom marquee display, and even a dog biscuit bar for you to take a treat home for your favorite furry family members, absolutely no detail was spared!
Wedding Day
The day of, I started with Megan, her mother, and her bridesmaids upstairs in the original farmhouse. The newly renovated rooms were a gorgeous, neutral backdrop for some fun, candid photos with her girls. The grand staircase led up to the stunning decorative window. Its sunlight was the perfect spot for some bridal photos. While Kevin and Megan opted against a first look, Megan did want a first look with her bridesmaids. The looks on their faces as Megan slowly made her way down the staircase were enough to make you cry. It was a perfect morning!
After a sun-soaked ceremony and some beautiful couple portraits, the party was officially underway. Kevin & Megan’s Mount Vernon Estate Events wedding was the perfect mix of fun and emotion – truly a day of celebration. I’m so thankful to have captured it.
