Riverbank Norwalk, Ohio Wedding & Huron County Expo Building Reception
It happened! After seven years, Nick and Sarah tied the knot! A day that has truly been in the making for so long. And yet, it almost felt like it might not happen. But, not for this bride. Sarah, with her dream wedding in mind, decided not even a last-minute venue change would put a damper on her & Nick’s big day.
You see, we were supposed to be shooting Nick & Sarah’s Norwalk, Ohio wedding at a local church. Due to unforeseen circumstances, (as has been the theme all 2020) the nuptials moved outside. But not just anywhere. Nick’s grandfather owns farmland that sits on the bank of the East Branch of the Huron River. Talk about a magnificent backdrop for a wedding! Add in the history of the land and it’s like this is exactly where this union was meant to be celebrated.
And celebrate they did! Nick & Sarah’s wedding was truly a day filled with so much joy, laughter, and celebration.
One of my favorite parts of the day, Sarah planned a first look with her dad. My goodness, the tears were flowing! And then, we did a grand reveal of her gown with her bridesmaids. Again, the best reveal ever! Some of my favorite getting ready shots ever!
From bridal prep, we drove the short distance to Nick’s grandpa’s land for the ceremony. A wagon delivered guests to the riverbank as they awaited the bride’s grand entrance. A sunny day, with a slight breeze, we ended up with the perfect weather, too! When Scott, the bride’s dad, and Sarah made their way down the aisle, she totally lost it. A sweet moment and I’m so happy we were there to capture it!
Nick & Sarah, congratulations on your new marriage! I hope you love these images, some of my faves from the day!
A gift from her older brother before his deployment, the purple monkey served to honor the memory of the soldier who never made it home.
