a burgundy and navy event at pleasant valley farm – lucas, ohio
What a beautiful day for a barn wedding!? Nick & Kaylin tied the knot in a hot summer wedding at Pleasant Valley Farm in Lucas, Ohio.? Unseasonably hot, in fact, for late September in Ohio.? However, that didn’t stop our bride and groom from throwing one of the most gorgeous barn weddings we’ve ever seen.? Upon arriving at the couple’s house, I was greeted by an adorably?huge dog who was just as excited as the bride.? (You’ll be sure to see him later.)? You know it’s going to be a good day at the office when your bride and her dog are snuggling during what could be a really crazy, hectic time on wedding days.
Especially since weddings are crazy and unpredictable.? Sometimes things can deviate from your plan.? Like, for instance, forgetting your vows at home.? And realizing just fifteen minutes before the ceremony.? Now, I’m not saying names; I’m just saying it could happen.? But, you know, if it does happen and you’re able to keep your cool, and coordinate a friend running to grab said vows, still nail an awesome photo op of exchanging said vows before the ceremony, and still marry your best friend, you might be doing really well.? Phew!
In all honesty, the entire day we spent with Nick & Kaylin was a photographer’s dream? We spent the day walking around Pleasant Valley Farm, exploring Gorman Nature Center for the perfect photo spots, stopping at 1285 Winery at the Blueberry Patch to enjoy a group drink or two, and even catching the last bit of sunlight for an amazing photo (stay tuned to the very end!).
So, enjoy all the beauty from their gorgeous Pleasant Valley Farm wedding!
You guys, there is not a better way to end a wedding than this.? I promise.
