This year’s wedding season began on a chilly, snowy Friday in February. ?How do I even begin with this one?! ?From the moment I walked in to Tyler & Erin’s cozy home in Holiday Lakes, I was in love with every little detail. ?Her perfect lace wedding dress hung in the living room glowing in the light from the?wall to wall windows overlooking the lake. ?What a perfect setting to photograph the most adorably sweet bride in the most gorgeous dress. ?We could photograph these two everyday. Throughout the entire day, one thing was so apparent: their enormous love for one another and their?family and friends. ?Multiple times throughout the day I found myself holding back tears with the biggest smile on my face. ?The love shown on this day was amazing.
Erin was beaming with joy and excitement sharing each tiny detail of her big day with us. ?From the paper flower bouquet, her gorgeous bridesmaids in their own shade of green dress, to her candlelit woodland decor in the church and at the Meadowbrook Ballroom, you could see Tyler & Erin’s beautiful?personalities. ?With Erin’s family and friends travelling from Michigan, it was especially joyful watching them all catch up and soak in the love and emotion of the day. ?One of our favorite moments was watching Erin run to Tyler for their first look. ?It was absolutely freezing outside, with a wind whipping in from the frozen waters, and here comes this beautiful woman in the most gorgeous lace dress with open back and heels running down the frozen hill. ?But her face was just beaming with joy and excitement. ?They were in their own world, it was amazing.
From the first moment they saw each other, till we said goodnight at the end of the day, that look of love never left their faces. ?This was a beautiful day and we’re so?lucky to have been there to share in it. ?What a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do so much: we spend an entire day where we’re able to completely lose ourselves in the love story of two beautiful souls.
